Some of you have seen this, but some of you have not. I thought I would share for those of you that need it.
Some good info for those of you that question what hardware to purchase to run SolidWorks.

I read through the Dell stuff and found they were suggesting an offering a "Deal" on a T3400 system with a Quadro FX 1700 and the E6850 processor.  The E6850 processor will not be much longer for this world.  They are currently offering the E8500 - which will be about 20-30% faster in Anna Wood's punch holder benchmark.  If Dell was really serious about helping you with SolidWorks performance they would recommend the E8500.  Instead, I think they are trying to dump inventory of the E6580...
