TORQUE VALUES FOR SLIP-CRITICAL BOLTED JOINTS
TORQUE VALUES FOR SLIP-CRITICAL BOLTED JOINTS
(OP)
Can someone direct me to a bolt chart which lists the recommended torque values for 18-8 fasteners lubricated with Loctite No. 51168 Never Seize (Food Grade), Loctite C5A, or equivalent?
I have the values for non-lubricated and was told that it would be possible to multiply the torque values by a factor of .90, but need some hard data to confirm this.
Thanks

However, I will tell you what they will tell you.
For a critical application, you need to test your actual configuration to determine the torque vs. tension relationship for your application.
