Surface Area Difference of Smaller Beads
Surface Area Difference of Smaller Beads
(OP)
Drawing a blank here, but could someone help me figure out the surface area difference between smaller and larger spherical beads if I know the bead diameter and bulk density of both the larger and smaller beads?
Thanks.
Thanks.

RE: Surface Area Difference of Smaller Beads
Surface area of each bead will increase with the square of the bead diameter.
A cube divided by a square is linear....
So, for a constant volume:
Halve the bead diameter = double the surface area.
Quarter the bead diameter = four times the surface area.
Et cetera...
Somebody double-check me, though!
Good on ya,
