Tilt-Up Software

I am in the market for some good tilt-up software.  Any recommendations?  What about PCA WALL?  Thanks.

RE: Tilt-Up Software

I didn't like PCA Wall at all - at the time I bought it (about 3 to 4 years ago) it wasn't very user friendly for me.  Lousy manual.

ENERCALC

haynewp, does ENERCALC allow for openings in the wall? Also, does it use FE analysis?
Thanks.

RE: Tilt-Up Software

you have to amplify the forces manually in the program input to account for the additional load on the jambs due to  openings. It is not FE, it does have iterative ability.

RE: Tilt-Up Software

We use PCAwall and we're ok with it.

It is not the most user-friendly program in the world, and you'll definitely need someone to point you in the right direction. But once you've got it down, it's pretty good.
