Head loss from hydraulic cylinder to hose
Head loss from hydraulic cylinder to hose
(OP)
Hello
Does anyone know if there is a way to roughly calculate the head loss from a hydraulic cylinder to a hose.
I know the speed of the cylinder, and the dimensions of the cylinder and hose. But I suspect the hose dimension to be a little small, given the flow rate of 1414 liters/min.
I don't think an orifice calculation will cover this, since the hydraulic grade line recovers more rapidly.
Anyone?
Best regards
Tommy
