Graphics setails display on assemblies

Graphics setails display on assemblies

Graphics setails display on assemblies

(OP)
I am using surface texture to display a company logo graphic from JPG file on a surface area I generated with a normal cutout. This works fine on part file.  One texture on most of part surface with logo texture assigned to cutout surface.  however this is not case in assembly.
Assembly will not display part colour or texture even when view setting for texture is on.
I can change colour or texture of part in assembly but not individual surfaces.

I must have some setting that wont allow part colours or surfaces in assembly.

Any idea what resolves this issue.

Thanks

RE: Graphics setails display on assemblies

Hi Alan,
I think you need to set the display of the part to "use part style"
You are correct that you can only apply textures/colours to a complete part in assembly.
