Select output request in input file

Select output request in input file

Hello everybody,

I currently work on Abaqus/Standard  6.6.3. In order to reduce the .odb file's size, I try to control the field output requests extraction.

I would like to select the following field output requests: PEEQ, PEMAG, MISES, CPRESS, RF, U.

I don't exactly know how to include this in the input file. I tried with the following syntax:

*output, field
*Node output
U,RF
*Element ouput
PE,PEMAG,PEEQ,MISES
*Contact output
CPRESS

The calculus runs without syntax errors, but when I open the odb file, I have an acess to other requests that I haven't selected, like RM3 for exemple, or AC Yield.

I wonder if it is not because I use the line :

*output, field

and then, because there's no precisions about the option, the FE code considers by default variable=PRESELECT.

Does anybody know how I can select my field output in the input file?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards.

RE: Select output request in input file

Do you have ABAQUS CAE.If you had abaqus CAE, you could set this up in CAE and then look at the replay file for commands.

Hi Gurmeet,

And first, thanks for taking care of my problem.

Indeed, I have Abaqus C.A.E. But, the problem is that the syntax I have exposed in my previous post is already extracted form a CAE model...

I still haven't found how to select output requests. But I go on working on it.
