Hello,

What's the best way to remove flange/overflow in O-rings?

Thanks

RE: remove flange/overflow in O-rings

First is to make sure the blank weights or shot volumes are correct and you are not wasting compound.

Make sure the mould surfaces and platens are parallel at all times during the mould closing and curing cycles.

Tear-off grooves machined on the mould, close to the O-ring cavities, make it easy to strip most of the flash by hand.  Finishing in a cryogenic stripper will provide a flash-free product.
