In-context part won't update in assembly

In-context part won't update in assembly

(OP)
Sorry if this has already been asked before, I've had a look through the forums and couldn't find much.

I have an in-context part that is an L-shape, the inside height of the L is driven by a dimension in a sketch of another part via an equation.

When I change the height of the driving part the L shape does not update to the correct size until I open the L shaped part and rebuild it.

How do avoid this so that it rebuilds automatically in the assembly?

Cheers for any help!

RE: In-context part won't update in assembly

Use a top level assy sketch or Layout, and drive both parts from it.

cheers
