It would probably help if you gave a little more information about what you are trying to accomplish.

It appears, from the term "closed loop traverse", that you are talking about a survey.  Not sure if you are looking for recommendations on equipment to use or the procedures to follow.

what would be the best procedure and if possible have any notes or attachments on the matter , i studyed surveyin in college , but its a bit different doing it practicly rather than studing it in theory
