Dual cetified 304/304L

(OP)
hi, i'm Xeros.

I understand that dual certified materials has the higher stress values for grade 304 and good weldability, good corrosion resistance for grade 304L.

Therefore, I want to apply the dual certified materials (grade 304/304L) in LNG plant project.

However, I have no reference for providing to client that using dual certified material is economical or not?

Could I get the comparison information or reference, such as cost, property, etc.,  between type 304, type 304L, dual type 304/304L and type 316L?

RE: Dual cetified 304/304L

Locally we have difficulty finding anything other than dual-certified material locally in common piping/fitting forms.  The cost premium over single graded 304 or 304L is zero.

Cost premium of 316/L vs 304/L depends on market price for the alloying constituents and varies over time.
