Hi, i need information about cooling load methods in ships, i don't know if i can use a cooling load in buildings method or a different one.

thanks

RE: HVAC in ships

Cruise ship?  Container ship?  Tanker?  Bulk cargo?  Military?

No, you cannot use building calculation methods.

See:

ASHRAE Applications Handbook,

Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Technical and Research Bulletin 4-16

and

ISO 7547

for starters.
