Update
Update
(OP)
Hi,
I wanted to ask, if its possible, when you have the delayed interpart ticked and then you want to update the part, that you are working on, if you can select the parts, that you only want to update. For example, you have skeleton and top and bottom core. You will change the skeleton, but you only want to update the bottom core not the top to save the time. Is it possible somehow_?
Thanks

RE: Update
I think I know what you mean and I think the answer may be not really. However if it is just the one linked body in an assembly then edit the parameters of the linked body and just hit OK in that dialog at it will rebuild just the one side at a time. You do this by making the bottom your work part before commencing to edit parameters.
Or you could just temporarily close the other half of the tool before running update session. Why there isn't an update part eludes me somewhat, which is to say that I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong.

RE: Update
If you have mold wizard, go to the view manager and freeze the top core.

RE: Update
Depending on your situation if you know what you're doing the edit parameters method may be quicker. It was worth mentioning on that basis because I use it frequently.
The closing method is good too but again depending on your situation it may not be appropriate both in terms of the affected data and sometimes just because it may be slower.
