Restarting a two-way FSI Ansys 11

Restarting a two-way FSI Ansys 11

(OP)
Hello All,

Has anyone had any sucess restarting a two-way coupled FSI analysis in Ansys?  I try following the instructions in the CFX help, but the analysis either crashes due to extremely skewed elements in the Ansys analysis or the next time step has dramatically different results.

To me it seems as though CFX's restart mechanism works great for the CFD portion of the anlysis in order to initialize the fluid domain to the previous timestep, however I am not sure that the previous Ansys timestep results are being loaded in.

Perhaps there is a way to load the previous timestep Ansys results into the Workbench Simulation model?  Not sure, just taking a stab in the dark.

Thanks in advance,

Steve
