Concrete Shear Wall and End Column

Concrete Shear Wall and End Column

Concrete Shear Wall and End Column

(OP)
We are designing a scissor ramp garage with 200'x60' dimensions.  As usual, the shear walls are located at the center of the garage as two "T" shapes.  The tips of the "Ts" are columns with spread footings.

This setting helps the soil pressure at tips of shear walls.  It also helps to resist the overturning moment with column loads.

1. Is this a typically setting for this kind of situation?

2. Is there anything we need to watch out for this setting?

3. Is there any special details for shear wall-to-column connections and footings?

Thank you for your great help.
