I need to decide a small AHU to circulate warm air in a stand alone private cinema that I'm building (approx 12m square).
I want it to be capable of about 2000m3/h (approx 550 litres/sec).
While I can find plenty of suppliers on the net (I'm in the UK by the way), none of them seem to specify the electrical requirements - I want to find one that is energy efficient, also I need to know what size of cable and fuse I require at my consumer unit.
Can anyone recommend a manufacturer that gives these details online? Also if anyone can advise if a particular manufacturer is particularly reliable (or not!) that would be much appreciated.

BUT...Given what you don't know, i'm interested to hear how you came to know what you do know... Where did you find the 2000 m3/h number?
You will need to understand the acoustic issues as well.
Consultants are pricey before a cock up, and cheap after.

How much outdoor air are you planning on bringing in for ventillation?
Calculate your mixed air temperature (Return Air+ Outdoor Air) using a pshch chart or software.
You probably want at least 95ºF air minimum for heating, possibly higher. Calculate your delta T.
If you were working in inch-pounds(I know you aren't, but you can do the conversion yourself) you would then use BTUH=(deltaT)*1.08*cfm. To get the BTU's you require. Convert BTUH to KW. Knowing the KW for the heat I'm assuming you can get the cable and fuse size from there. Add a bit for the fan motor. I'm guessing you will have a 2 or 3 hp motor for ~4000cfm based upon the dimension you gave.
That should give you enough for your "budget" numbers.
www.yorkupg.com and www.trane.com have online catalogs, and both offer 50hz catalogs or derating data for 50hz. There may be a lot of better offerings that only work in europe, these are just two brands I know have the data available on line. The catalogs will have a page listing electrical requirements.

I believe 2000m3/h is more like 1200 CFM so assuming a 35TD then BTU/h = 1200 x 1.08 x 35*F = ~ 45000 BTU/H/3412BTU/KW = ~ 13 KW + 2 HP at 1.34KW = ~ 16KW so for single phase at 230 volts you would need a 30 amp circuit breaker with #12 wire if less then 50 ft run other wise use # 10 wire
