Transformer Oil Level Guages

Does anybody know of any manufacturers of Transformer Oil Level Guages?

I know of Qualitrol here in Canada but I have not been able to get anywhere with these folks.

RE: Transformer Oil Level Guages

Where are you trying to "get" with Qualitrol?

Service/info. for an old or outdated product?

As far as I know, Qualitrol is the only company making
transformer instruments.
We've never had any problem with them.

Electricuwe may know what the Germans use.

RE: Transformer Oil Level Guages

Weiss Instruments makes some transformer gauges

A Yahoo search turned up:

Advanced Control Technology, Inc http://www.actsensors.com/sensors.htm

and quite a few manufacturers not in North America.

RE: Transformer Oil Level Guages

SpinctherBoy,

in Germany and most parts of Europe usally a combined device detecting generated gas (large volume by arcing or small volume due to persistent problems) in a transfomer and low oil level is used. These device are called Buchholz-Relais.

RE: Transformer Oil Level Guages

Tha catalog I have for Qualitrol lists the address as:
1385 Fairport Road
Fairport, NY 14450
(716) 586-1515

The catalog is no more than 5 years old so it should be worth a try
