Increasing deep well disposal rates

Increasing deep well disposal rates

Increasing deep well disposal rates

(OP)
Good day,

We have two water disposal wells connected to a single plunger pump. Currently we are injecting at 1300#, 25m3/day, the max operating pressure of the wells is 1600#.
In the past we had two pumps injecting separately and a total disposal of 35 m3/day. One pump got busted and that is how we ended up with one pump two wells. (adding a new pump is not an option)
My question is, would it be advisable to change the sheave size to speed up the pump and inject more?

Thanks
