Plot Stamp for SolidWorks 2006

Plot Stamp for SolidWorks 2006

(OP)
Is there a Plot Stamp type of feature in SW similar to Acad's?
After so many drawings you tend to loose track of the different revisions.
This also goes for: Drive, file name, date, scale, etc.

RE: Plot Stamp for SolidWorks 2006

You can use custom properties linked to the drawing values.

As a start, I did do a macro for a portion of this a while back (Date and time stamp):  http://sw.fcsuper.com/index.php?name=UpDownload&req=viewdownloaddetails&lid=43

The other values, like scale and such are easy.  I wrote this article which general covers this topic recently:  http://www.fcsuper.com/swblog/?p=43  You can also check SolidWork Help for linked properties in the "Linking Notes to Document Properties" article and the "Link to Property" article.
