two stage refrigeration for residencial heat

(OP)
Since fuel costs are making electricity an attractive energy supply and heat pumps are generally an air to air system which does not provide the best comfort due to the air movement, why not have a heat pump with a two stage compressor so that the temperature rise would be enough to heat water to about 130 degrees F for use in a radiant floor heating system as well as providing domestic hot water?

RE: two stage refrigeration for residencial heat

I'm not convinced that electricity is that great a bargain.  Much of the electricity we use is generated via fossil fuels, so electricity rates will probably track natural gas rates.
