Add Sheet # to BOM table

Add Sheet # to BOM table

Add Sheet # to BOM table

(OP)
Hello,

Is there a way to add a parameter to my models so that they can determine what sheet# they are on when detailed.
Then add that parameter to my main BOM table so it displays  what sheet# to go to to find that part.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Add Sheet # to BOM table

You can create a "sheet" parameter for each of your models but I think it would start to get confusing in the long run.  What if you used a part in different assemblies and it appeared on different sheets?  The parameter could only apply to one specific placement

I think the best thing to do is to generate a BOM table for each sheet of your drawing.  This way you can specify what is on each sheet.  I think this has to be done thru a table filter and/or picking items which are not on your sheet because when you place the BOM table it will just read the entire assy.

Hope this is of some assistance.
