ALT Shortcut keys seem to change - anyone notice this?

ALT Shortcut keys seem to change - anyone notice this?

(OP)
I'm referring to the underscore letter when you hold down the ALT key:

For example, in drafting, if I want to add a sheet, it is 4 menu selections:
Insert -> Drawing -> Sheets -> New Sheet

Usually I can hold the "ALT" key and hit IRSN  but sometimes the "drawing" selection is "D" and sometimes it is "R".  Does anyone know why or has observed this?

(Yes, I know there are easier ways to insert a sheet, but this is just an example).

Also, in sketcher, to make 2 points coincident, in the context menu the last option is coincidence.  Sometimes the underscore character is "C" and other times it is "I"

This would really save me some clicking if I could nail this down.

Let me know if you have similar problems or workarounds.  Thanks.  I'm on v5R17 SP8 currently but have observed it at all levels of R17.  Also running winxp 64.

RE: ALT Shortcut keys seem to change - anyone notice this?

I have seen the same behavior. I too am a preferred keyboard User, and that really irritates me. I've seen the same with other CAD packages as well. "All hail the mouse and having to read the endless choices in the menus (over and over)" I guess.
