I would strongly recommend "The Seismic Design Handbook" by Farzad Naeim.

Concrete - PCI Design Handbook
Bridges - Design of Highway Bridges, Puckett
Wood - Design of Wood Structures, Breyer
Theory - Dynamics of Structures, Chopra
Theory - Structural Dynamics, Tedesco

If you don't have the seismic design manuals volumes 1, II, and III from IBC, I would recommend you start there.  Some good examples of how to use the code.

I just bought Seismic & wind forces, engineering examples by Alan Williams.  So far so good... but I am only reading the wind part.

Which of the following books would you recommend or stay away from in preparation for the Structural I Exam and for practice?  I am looking at buying only 1 total.  (In other words, if you had to pick 1 of the following, which would you pick?)

If it is for the SE1 exam, I would just buy a book for the exam preparation.  I wouldnt go too deep in to seismic.
