Screw bits

(OP)
I'm looking for dimensions of different kind screw bits.  What are the dimensions of a Philips bit, Torx bit,...

RE: Screw bits

I don't know too much about screw bits other than the PHILLIPS type bit was patented by STANLEY WORKS many years ago. I suggest starting there for that one, and they may be able to provide the dimensions or maybe a website where you may find the others.
The MAchinery's Handbook also has alot of these dimensions shown in the machine screws section.

If all else fails, I suggest purchasing a set and taking measurements. I do realize it would be very crude, but thats reverse engineering for you.
