Has anyone tried running solidworks on a macbook?

Thanks, but I understood that this discussion is centered on Macbook PRO with more emphasis on high-end performance with complex parts and assemblies.

I have a measly macbook (not pro) and was wondering if anyone had any success (or failures) trying SW on a less powerful machine...

RE: Soldiworks on a Macbook

I have installed SW08 on my MacBook (2.1Ghz, 2G RAM).  It can't handle the larger assemblies I deal with at work, but for small projects (dozens of parts instead of thousands) it works fine.  I have done things with it like model my house, furniture, archery equipment, etc.

Great!
Thanks!
