Estimating flow noise over cooler

Estimating flow noise over cooler

Estimating flow noise over cooler

(OP)
Hi
Hope this is the right forum for my question.
I´m trying to estimate the noise generated from a small (25kW) 3-cyl diesel engine. I already have the engine body noise, and have formulas for estimating exhaust noise and fan noise. What I need to estimate is the flow noise generated by the air passing through the engine water cooler. Does anyone have a formula for roughly estimating this? Also, because there is a pressure drop over the cooler there would also be an attenuation of the noise from fan and engine body?
Any input would be appreciated.
