RE: Standards BS 5486 P.2 and IEC 439-1 form 2a

If you are biddling for work which is to be built to a standard it seems reasonable to expect that you are either familiar with the standards, or prepared to buy the standards. BS 5486-2 has been replaced by BS EN 60439-2:2000, IEC 60439-2:2000.

Buy the standard. It's only £130, not much in the great scheme of things.
