Piping Material Price List

Piping Material Price List

Piping Material Price List

(OP)
Working as a project manager, need to know sometimes current prices for piping, steel profiles, sheets, valves...in one word - piping material prices.
Is there any link to price lists for above?
Thanks!

RE: Piping Material Price List

Good luck on this one.  In today's market, prices are changing frequently.  I suggest you contact two or three local supply houses to get current prices.

IVNJ, thank you, but I already did...Always the same...first purchase, then prices...

RE: Piping Material Price List

Are you in the US ?

RE: Piping Material Price List

I spend almost 90% of my estimating projects.  I know of no published price list.  You'll have to go a supply house.  Where are you?  Maybe I can recomend one.

What do you mean by "fist purchase then price?"  They can't expect you to buy something without knowing the price.

"First purchase then price" means that I must supply quantities if I want price. It is reasonable and not a problem, but sometimes I don't have time to wait for price, because everybody wants estimation "yesterday". IVNJ - unfortunanately I am not in USA. I am from country not expected to have clever people and serious companies.
Anyway, thank you for your effort.

RE: Piping Material Price List

The prices that you ask for depends on the country that you are located. You can not do estimation because prices change very frequently (especially for stainless steels). So probably the best think to do is to give an offer with a deadline not more than 10 days for stainless steel and not more than a month for common steel (st37 etc)
Feel free to ask me more if you want.
