Deleted Routing Piping

Deleted Routing Piping

Deleted Routing Piping

(OP)
Has anybody come across the scenario where a route of flexible pipe that has been checked into a Workgroups vault on one machine and checked out on another can be edited with devastating results.

Currently when the next person to check out the part tries to edit the route the flexible tube file is deleted out of the route assembly on rebuild, leaving only the 3-D sketch and a foul taste in the user's mouth.

I'm currently dealing with my VAR to get the issue resolved, but I wanted to know if this was a localized or widespread problem.

RE: Deleted Routing Piping

I've found that editing a pipe route can be a very dangerous venture even on a local machine.  Many times I find it faster to just recreate the route.  The Routing add-in just likes to kick you in the pants for no reason sometimes.

It's weird because it behaves just fine prior to check in, there. I'm convinced that it has something to do with what happens to the file at check in.
