Addition of Orthotropic Materials in NX5

Addition of Orthotropic Materials in NX5

Addition of Orthotropic Materials in NX5

(OP)
Hi all,
First let me apologize if this is a previously discussed question. A quick search of the forum did not yield anything on orthotropic materials.
I am wondering how to add orthotropic materials to the materials database in NX5.  I have had no problem creating new isotropic materials. There are no pre-loaded orthotropic materials in the database so I am having trouble determining the order of the values. I have a feeling that this is the main part of the problem. When I try to load the material I have created from the material properties menu, i get an error that states: "Error recieved in do_event:Event Handler: C:/Program Files/UGS/NX 5.0/ugii/materials/phys_material.tcl, Event Name: DBC_retrieve, See syslog for more details"
Like I said, I can try to load the material when I search for it, so I know at least the first 4 entries are correct in the materials.dat file.

Any help would be appreciated.  If anyone has any orthotropic materials loaded in NX5, a copy/paste of the first few lines of the orthotropic section of materials.dat  would probably be sufficient.
Thanks a lot!
