Sketcher Referance dialogue box

Sketcher Referance dialogue box

Sketcher Referance dialogue box

In wildfire 2 the sketcher referance dialogue box appeared automaticlly, in wildfire 3 it doesn't.  Is there config option or some other way that I can make Pro E act the way it did in wildfire 2?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Sketcher Referance dialogue box

I'm on WF2, but saw this the other day and it stuck in my head.

In WF 3.0 there is a new config for sketcher created references:
sketcher_auto_create_refs 0,1 or 2

Most of the time option 2 works well for us where sketcher chooses the
references for us, but there are some times when you would like to pick
addditional or different references. However, in WF 3 if you use option
2 then the sketcher reference dialog box never comes up, you have to go
up in the menus to find it. Option 1 will only pick one reference
automatically and the sketcher reference dialog box then always comes
up.

We would like to use the option 2 where sketcher picks two references
automatically but also have the sketch references dialog box still come
up like it used to in WF 2.0

Any thoughts? Is that possible?

Don't think there were any answers.  :-|

RE: Sketcher Referance dialogue box

What is wrong with pressing the sketch setup button?

RE: Sketcher Referance dialogue box

We are talking about the Reference collector here vs. Placement?
What was 'wrong' with the old behavior?  It opens, with two references
if it finds 'appropriate' ones.  If you don't want to change or add you
don't click anything on it.  Pick your first entity creation tool and
it closes.

Is there improvement?  Is it a counterproductive UI 'shell game'?
