(OP)
I am looking for a paper, article or tips on design of a medium pressure "ring" duct system. The application is a multistory office building. The floor is feed from a central station via a riser. In the past, I have broken the floor plate into sections and determined the max CFM per section then designed the duct to carry the required flow in to that section. Then connected the back sections together to form a ring header. I would like to know the proper way to design a medium pressure ring on a floor. I have seen a few building the use the same size duct on all 4 sides with only 2 major feeds from the central station(s).
