Dear Eng Fellows, I'm going to involve in an outage job handling Toshiba steam turbine 500 MW. Now I have the casing bolt specification, but it's totally unknown for me.
For example, a stud bolt code K1DWUH601236 RG + B Type. Are there someone here could help me to translate/identify this code? Thanks a lot...

RE: Toshiba steam turbine casing bolt

Are to trying to figure out the stretch?  I have some toshiba specs that might have the material type I could look up for a similar turbine size (not a guarantee its the same).  If you need to manufacture them, a vendor will be able to determine the material.

Hi Tru, the elongation and tightening angle are available (to be honest, for me it's quite complicated since need to set angle in degree - minute). I'm more familiar to hydraulic torquing and tensioning method instead of heating rod. The biggest problem is there's no clear spec describe the measurement standard. For example: Stud length (L) = 1236 and thread type UH6. There're no detail whether it's measured in mm or inches and pitch type of UH6. Hope u could  help.
