Arched Roof Wind Loads (ASCE)

Arched Roof Wind Loads (ASCE)

(OP)
ASCE 7-05 Figure 6-8 gives arched roof coefficients, but my building actually has half an arch with the windward wall being 20' tall and the leeward wall around 40' (or reverse).  My question is whether it is valid to run calcs using Figure 6-8 and only use the roof loads given for the first roof quarter and half the center, and then use a monoslope roof calculation to figure out the wall loads?

Thanks,
Nick

RE: Arched Roof Wind Loads (ASCE)

Without a good accurate model, I would take the worst case for the roof and walls of the two roof conditions.  Conservative, but safe in court.
