hi
I am going to to prepare HEC-HMS model for an ungaged basin within napa valley. I found some of the station surrounding that basin. But most of them have daily and annually mean precipitation or rain fall in inches. Is there any other way to develop the frequency storm for less than 24 hour and one hour.

thanks for giving me the usefull link. Its just the liturature what day did. It's hard to follow the methodology stated in that article.

RE: Storm Frquency Development

Go to the website.
Then go to the precipitation frequency server.
Then go to the area of the Country where you need the data.
There you will find maps or tables of precipitation, frequency, and duration for any rainfall event you are interested in.

Wander around a little. You'll find it.

good luck
