Guys how you doing? I'm new here just sign up. I just want to know if core velocity is the same as free area velocity. The published performance data you get over the manufacturer's website is only core area and core velocity. Grilles will be used for transfer air between rooms (clean room) at 2000 CFM and velocity of 100 FPM. If you guys can also know some manufacturer that publish the free area velocity in their performance data information would be a great help.
Thanks in advance.

RE: free area velocity of return grille

Yes, the listed core area is the same as the free area.
