Looking for help understanding equation in ASHRAE 62-2004 dual-path multi-zone ventilation calc in Appendix A.  I'm having a hard time understanding the "General Case" equation for zone ventilation efficiency.  Can anyone conceptually explain how Fb and Fc are being used in this equation to yield the zone efficiency?.

I see the general (multi-path) case equation is very similar to the single path equation which I think I understand how they came up with. The additions of the Fb and Fc factors in the general case however are throwing me.
