Solidworks Revision Block

Solidworks Revision Block

(OP)
I recently asked a question about using a revision block instead of Solidworks revision tables. I attached the question to the end of an existing thread and was informed that I should have started a new thread. It has since been deleted by the forum administrator. I had been in contact with a member named "Cheeseburger" and he was helping me out with a solution. I would like to have the part revision information from PDMWorks fill in the revision information of the drawing file automatically. Cheeseburger was going to send me his drawing template so I could see how he was achieving this, but the thread was deleted before he sent it to me. If anyone has any ideas on how to do this or how to get in contact with Cheeseburger, please let me know.

Thanks,

toshgaal

RE: Solidworks Revision Block

On the same subject........

How do I delete a column in a revision table? When RMB click, and go to "delete", the only option is "table".

There is an option under "Insert" for column and row, but can't delete a column.

SolidWorks revision tables are revision 'blocks' on a drawing. You setup PDMW to read the revisions from the tables.

Colin,
Sort of like Excel, put your cursor at the top of the column on the column letter, RMB, delete column.

RE: Solidworks Revision Block

Hi,
How do I recycle a revision block back to REV "A"? When I insert a new revision it starts at REV "B".

Thanks
