indented assemblies in BOM

indented assemblies in BOM

We are using indented assemblies here and my question is this. is it possible to dissolve a subassembliy in the bom and not the model.

RE: indented assemblies in BOM

There is a setting in the BOM that will show "all parts" or "top level parts and assy only".  This setting affects the whole BOM, not just a single sub-assy however.  I am not clear on which you desire.

RE: indented assemblies in BOM

I have bom set to show "indented assemblies" Which shows all of the subassemblies shown in the models. I want to be able to dissolve the certain subassemblies in the BOM so the qty's in the referencing Assemblies will update.

I hope that explains what i want to do

RE: indented assemblies in BOM

It is not possible to dissolve an individual sub-assy in the BOM, without doing so in the model.

cheers
