SA36 instead of SA307B

SA36 instead of SA307B

SA36 instead of SA307B

(OP)
Can we use SA36(bar)as anchor bolt instead of SA307B?

The tensile stress for SA36 is 58-60 ksi and yield stress is 36ksi while tensile stress for SA307B is 60Ksi and yield stress is not given any where!

Thanks for your input.

RE: SA36 instead of SA307B

mechmania;
Not using SA 307 Grade B material, but you can use SA 307 Grade C material in place of SA 36 for nonheaded anchor bolts, because the Grade C material can be produced to conform to the ASTM A 36 requirements,  as stated in the ASME SA 307 specification under the Scope.
