Double Line in a Caption

Double Line in a Caption

Double Line in a Caption

Hi,

Underneath a drawing view you can have a caption... is there a way to have two lines of text?

Cheers,

M

RE: Double Line in a Caption

Hi M,
Not as far as versions up to V19 go.
Can't comment on V20.
I just put a Callout and attach it to an element in the view, without a leader. Not perfect but at least that way it moves with the view.
I've never understood why the view properties have a "Description" box, but there is no option to show that text on the view.

Yeah, what is it with the description box? It's like they were intending to use it as a feature, but then forgot to...

The leader method is how we currently add a further line, but I was hoping we were missing something simple :D

RE: Double Line in a Caption

I just tried adding a line feed into the caption text but it doesn't recognize the characters.
That Description has been there since SE was invented !

Hi Cadsman... sorry but in v19 that does not work :(

RE: Double Line in a Caption

That doesn't work in V20 either.
