Is anyone else having this problem? We just upgraded to 2008 and when we go to "Save as a copy" we can't rename the model to match the drawing. So basically it is taking more steps to do something that was so simple is 2007. Any suggestions?

RE: Save as Copy SW 2008

I'm a bit confused. Can you explain a bit more.

You are creating a new part using 'Save as a copy' and trying to name the new part the same as an existing drawing. What is the drawing of?

Have you tried Pack and Go or SW Explorer to copy and rename parts?

cheers
