One of the improvements to BASINS 4.x being undertaken in FY08 is the inclusion of an interface for SWMM5 through MapWindow.

I do not know the expected release date of this.

RE: SWMM5 GIS Interface: MapWindow...

Hmm I wonder if mapwindow will run in WINE as we're now exclusively a LINUX household and I have a thesis to do in GIS...

RE: SWMM5 GIS Interface: MapWindow...

Hi all,

We're quite excited to see a SWMM5 GIS interface for MapWindow GIS.  This is exactly the kind of lightweight GIS interface use that MapWindow was developed for.  Hopefully it will go well and get widely used...

As for running in WINE, I'm not sure if MapWindow runs under that environment or not... if you find out either way, will you please let me know?

Thanks,

Dan
