PROFILE TOLERANCE OF SPLINES - CLASS 4

I'm looking thru the ANSI B92.1 spline book (table #3) and trying to find out if the profile tolerance needs to be compensated as the tooth thickness or space width.  I believe that the book reads that the multiplication factor only applies to the CTT or CSW.  Can anybody confirm this?  I also need the Para number and page if possible.

Thanks to all.
