Hi,

Could anybody suggest me how to include Logo on one of my modles, where we are not engraving/extruding it. We are going to gule sticker to my part. But I want to still show it on my model.

It would be very great, if somebody suggest me what is the best way of doing it. I am up to my neck at the moment.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
MKP

RE: Logo

I am a fairly inexperienced SW user but I would use Decals for any graphics that were to be included on the final design, but not to be engraved, extruded or scribed.

If you've not tried this already, type 'Decals' into SW Help Files, if you have tried it and decided it's not suitable then ignore my suggestion =P

RE: Logo

If the logo will be on a sticker, then create a part of the sticker and place the logo onto it. The logo sticker will then be included in a BOM when used in an assy.

A drawing of the part can then also be used as the artwork for the sticker.

cheers

RE: Logo

Start a sketch on the face you want the logo on.
Go to Tools>Sketch Tools>Sketch Picture
Select the image file of the logo.
Just locate and resize as needed and close the sketch.
The image is now on the part. Really cool
