Contact Analysis Errors

(OP)
I have a series of parts put together in an assembly, and I'm trying to use contact regions in my analysis.  I have contacts around pins in lugs, and fastener heads on surfaces etc.  I keep getting this kind of error:

"** Warning: Two faces (DBIDs: 4418814 & 4373412) on opposite
surfaces in a contact region (DBID: 3143632) are
connected at a node (DBID: 4207904). This prevents
the surfaces from moving completely apart during
a contact analysis. If this is not what you
intended, please edit your model appropriately."

How can I trouble shoot this???  Thanks!

RE: Contact Analysis Errors

You will have to use the independent version of Mechanica to debug.  Once you have transferred your model, just run the entity_ID macro and type in the ID number from the error message.  The offending surface should be highlighted.
