Error using QuickCalc in ACAD LD 2007

Error using QuickCalc in ACAD LD 2007

(OP)
I'm using the QuickCalc function inside the Properties pull out tab after selecting a closed polyline to factor square footage into acreage.

However about half of the time I receive an error stating, "Error:Numeric Overflow". I then delete what I had previously typed with my number pad (/43560), and enter the same equation (/43560), and it works!?!

It not horrible to retype the numbers, but it disrupts the flow and can get annoying when you're trying to copy and paste the values quickly.

Anyone ever run into this?
