Prestress strand - calculating debond length based on slippage

Prestress strand - calculating debond length based on slippage

(OP)
Is anyone familiar with a method for calculating the effective debonding of a prestress strand based on its slippage?

The only reference I've found are the strand stress-strain curves, but using these will only let me calculate a prestress loss over the entire length of the member, whereas an effective debond length will only be on the end of the slippage, and give a more accurate result.

Thanks

RE: Prestress strand - calculating debond length based on slippage

debonding is when you wrap the end of the strand at the ends of the member to relieve some of the tension at the top.  I don't think this is what you're looking for.
Check out the transfer length link provided by shin25.
