external references broken ?

(OP)
Hello ,

I have an assembly with 2 parts

part 2 have a external reference feature (convert enteties) to part 1

When a copy the assembly to another name (with the parts) , the feature (part 2) still refer to the first assemblyname.
And have a symbol ? behind it.

How can this be fixed to a -> symbol ?

thanks

RE: external references broken ?

As CBL suggested, use SolidWorks Explorer... not Windows Explorer.

RE: external references broken ?

An alternative to using Solidworks Explorer is to right click the file in Windows Explorer and using the Solidworks sub-menu.
