Can I compress time in a SW 2008 Animation? In 2007 time could be altered by dragging the key properties bar in either direction but I can't seem to be able to do this in 2008. Any ideas??? Thanks. Dadelar

RE: SW 2008 Amination

To compress time, you have to move the keys themselves. On a singular part, it's simple, but if you're dealing with an assembly it'll take more time. You can box select, or control select, all the keys and move them together, but the timing between them will remain the same.

RE: SW 2008 Amination

You used to be able to drag the final keypoint (or line or something at the end) to quickly proportionately scale total animation time.  I'm not using 2008 yet (by far, my latest deployment of a "new" version), so I'm not quite sure if the interface has changed in this regard.  Look around near the end of your animation for something to grab and move--I don't think it's the last keypoint, but something else.

RE: SW 2008 Amination

Ok, I just messed around with an assembly, Jeff, and couldn't see how to do what you're describing. If I had only a single part moving that, in turn, moved other parts, I could do it. But when I added more independent moves, I had to move the keys all together...I know that I'm probably missing some simple trick here.
